About

Hey! I’m Teya and I am a full-time student at the University of Western Sydney. I am currently studying a Bachelors Degree of Design in Visual Communication as well as a Bachelors Degree of Entrepreneurship. I have a passion for graphic design, fashion photography and portraiture. I have been inspired by many great photographers however my greatest influence would most likely be Annie Leibovitz. Her Ability to capture such great emotion and power in a single still image is something I aspire to achieve in all areas of my work.

The Blog

This blog focuses on interactive digital media through the eyes of a graphic designer. It consists of an array of lecture notes, reflections and general classwork completed during the ‘Graphic Design: Interactive Digital Media’ unit. Interactive design as a whole covers an enormous part of our daily lives, especially in today’s day and age. Everything from our commute to work, to ordering our meals has become an digitised, but how did we get so good at using all these different interfaces? Well, throughout this blog I will delve into the logistics of why everything is set up the way it is and how ‘good’ and ‘bad’ interactive design can come into play when determining the success of an interface.
